Cheese and Wine Tasting Event in Winters at Turkovich Tasting Room, Rootstock, and Berryessa Gap

January 27, 2012 from 4pm to 8pm
Wine Tasting Room Exclusives:  Friday from 4pm until 8pm Berryessa Gap will feature cheese from Pedrozo Dairy located in the rich agricultural community of Orland.  Cheese maker, Tim Pedrozo will be in our Downtown Tasting Room providing samples of cheese and answering questions about his family dairy and grass-fed cows.  Enjoy a selection of his cows milk cheeses that are aged at least 60 days: Northern Gold, Red Pepper and Garlic & Herb.  These rich handcrafted cheeses are limited in…See More

The Winters Plein Air Festival will take place in May this year, with artists visiting from all over California and beyond.  We would like to encourage more out of the area artists by offering accommodations. Hosting an artist is a great way to be involved with this wonderful event.

Crop Swap

Crop Swap is a fun, productive way to share the bounty of your garden and kitchen.  Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday, we meet in Rotary Park at 6:30 all summer long.  Fruit and vegies, seeds and herbs, home baked yumminess, jams, jellies, olives, eggs, honey, flowers, and plants were exchanged.  Community sharing and a great start to a more local food system.  Next Swap...Sept 21 6:30pm.  For more info contact Ana Kormos sonrisavidasana@gmail.com
